Our Team

Dr. Varsha Mathur has provided eye care for the Visalia community since 2014. She graduated from the University of California Irvine and earned her Doctorate of Optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. 

Dr. Mathur practices primary care optometry with specialties in myopia management as well as the pre and post-surgical management of cataracts, LASIK, and PRK. She works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eyecare and regularly attends continuing education courses. Dr. Mathur can diagnose conditions such as ocular allergies, conjunctivitis, corneal abrasions, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She combines her knowledge base with the most up-to-date tools such as Optos imaging, which takes photos of the back part of your eye, to help make a diagnosis. She strives to listen to your eye care needs, provide personalized care for each patient, take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, and describe your options. 

In her spare time, Dr. Mathur enjoys spending time with her family, cuddling her 2 active dogs, gardening, making soap, exploring the local restaurant scene, and making new friends within the community.
